When me and my wife moved to Brampton, we were looking for a fitness regiment that we could both do together. We had previously trained together at a multi martial arts club in Mississauga before we moved and we found that very rewarding. I did some research and found Brampton Muay Thai.
The club was originally located at another location and some of the pictures below are from the old site. The school now is located on Williams Pkwy between Airport rd and Humberwest Pwky. Their motto "Love, Respect, Believe" are precepts that can go far in life and in training. I contacted the owner / instructor Nick Bautista and he was very forthcoming and welcoming to his school. He invited my wife and I to a free week of training at the club.
Our first experience at the school was..Awesome. The class consisted of beginners, but veterans also came an trained with the less experienced. We felt a very family oriented vibe through the gym and we had no issues speaking or asking for help. Kru (Instructor) Nick leads most of the classes at the school and believe me..if you think your in shape, try a week a his school. A very humbling experience. Kru Nick trained under Ajahn (Master) Suchart Yodkerepauprai who is regarded as the father of Muay thai in Canada. We have continued to train at Brampton Muay thai and do so for the years to come.
