  • I brought my iPhone 6 to Go Gadgets because the touch screen was non responsive and the phone kept locking up. Looking back at my experience I should have turned around and left the store because when I first entered I encountered a woman who was very nonchalant and was quick to diagnose my iPhone by saying that it needed to have its screen replaced. So I agreed and she proceeded to give me a paper to sign that made me acknowledge that if they only accept cash, which was a second red flag. It's obvious that they only accept cash so their customers cannot dispute the charge if something goes wrong. After I signed the agreement the woman at the front desk told me it would be about an hour. So I go wait in my car and after an hour goes by I picked my phone up. I made sure the screen was working and I was ecstatic to find out that the touch was now responsive. The shop charged me about $109.00 to fix the problem. I get my receipt and was told that I had a 30-day warranty and that I could bring my phone back in if the problem came back. Fast forward two weeks later, I noticed that the touch screen had become non-responsive again. So I grab my receipt and take my phone back and explain to them the problem. They take my phone back and replace the screen again and tell me that it is now working. I swipe my screen a few times and see that it's back to being responsive. Two minutes after leaving the store I swiped through my phone and it became non-responsive and stuck again. I was still outside of the store in my car, so I go back in and tell them that it's still not working right. The guy at the front desk mumbles to me, "oh it's probably not the screen that is causing the issues", and then he takes it to the back. A guy from the back that I assumed repairs the phones comes and tells me, sorry if it's not the screen we can't fix it. He was very rude and gave off this attitude as if he could care less about my issue. He told me there was nothing else they could do for me. I then asked him for a refund because I did not bring my phone in for the screen to be replaced. I brought my phone in because the screen was non-responsive and they are the ones that diagnosed the issue and came up with the idea that the screen was the issue. He told me the only way they could give me a refund is if they find my old original screen and put it back on my phone. The person who repairs the phone then went to the back and came back out after a few minutes and told me sorry, we can't find it. Needless to say I left the store pretty made and asked before leaving when the manager would be in. They told me he would be in the next day and when I went back he was not there. I went back 4 more times to ask for the manager and each time I went in he wasn't there. Please only take your phone here if you need the screen replaced because that's all they know how to do. They are not qualified to fix and bigger issues, but they will lie and tell you they can just to get your money. Their customer service is atrocious and the reason they have such good reviews on yelp and google is because they give their customers a discount off their repair price when they write a good review about the service, although the reviews have to be written at the register before you even find out if they repaired your phone right. Also, they claim that they have the best and lowest prices, but come to find out Apple could have repaired my phone for the same price.
