| - Hallelujah for an asian market north of the city! This place stocks up pretty much anything you would need to make authentic asian food and satisfy my craving for choco pie. LOL. Even to make egg rolls, I buy my meat, veggies, wrapper, sauces here eventhough I can probably get the same at a non-asian grocery store.
Two advantages vs another grocery: (1) price (2) there are certain ingredients, veggies, fruits, and cuts of meat that are sold only in this market. They not only sell meat and produce but also frozen meats and seafood (for hot pot), frozen snacks (like mochi ice cream, mung bean popsicles, mango sticky rice), snacks, canned goods, condiments, kitchenware (bowls, rice cooker), and more.
There is a small bakery in the back, but I honestly never purchased anything from there before. Two downsides: (1)parking esp on weekends. They are limited and tight; and (2) I saw a certain lot of soy sauce that may be expired. The only thing is that the markings didn't denote if it's the expiration or manufactured date, so just be alert.
