After my last experience bringing my Chevy Spark into the service center I was so displeased. I was told I had a recall so I made the appointment through Rick, the service advisor, who was very hard to get a hold of. I asked him how long the service would take and he gave me an estimate. I knew it had to get done eventually but I explained to him I am a nanny that relies on my car for transportation not only for me but kids as well. He assured me if I brought it in first thing in the morning it would be ready by 12 which worked out because my boyfriend was coming with me to drop me off and take me back to pick it up. We came back the same day only to find out that they hadn't even begun looking at it! He then began to undermine me and tell me that it takes 3-4 hours to have it done but I explained to him that's why I asked in the first place. He treated me as though I was child and because I was a woman I could not grasp the concept of cars. The second time I had to come in to bring my car I was taking off my car key for him from my lanyard and he asked if he should do it so I wouldn't "break a nail". I was furious after that, being treated both times like I was an airhead. After that experience I didn't want to go back but I thought it was the closest location. I found out that Autonation Chevy closer to me and after calling both locations for a recall that needed to be done the kicker was that Thorobred told me it would take 3 times as long as Autonation did. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and assuming that maybe they're a more popular location but after being lied to I won't be going back. Autonation said the recall does not take that long at all and when I went to them it was done in 30 minutes. I am giving them two stars because when I bought my car from an older gentleman named John I believe, he was alright. Luckily I had my dad with me that previously was a car salesman so he didn't give us too much trouble. If I were you I would try to avoid this location at any cost.
