BackBeats is an excellent record store with a few flaws. The selection is great and some of the prices are quite reasonable. However, you need to be careful because some of the prices are actually pretty high, especially for the condition of the vinyl. About half of the records that I buy there end up having a lot of surface noise, even after a thorough cleaning.
The owners are cool people who run the store mostly as a hobby. They seem willing to keep an eye out for whatever you seem to be interested in. The downside is that they're open something like 14 hours per week. They're also cash only. I can appreciate that they want to avoid CC fees, so whatever. It's slightly inconvenient though.
Ultimately, there are some good deals to be found, especially if you're looking for less-popular stuff by classic rock artists. However, you should familiarize yourself with the average prices of anything specific that you're looking for. Sometimes things are underpriced and sometimes things are over-priced. A bit of research goes a long way.
