We try to come here about once a year and usually around Christmas time. The lodge is very nice with 2 large areas with fireplaces that are just gorgeous. The inn has a Christmas theme that is taken care of by a local winery called Lanther's winery which just happens to have one of the largest Christmas tree displays in the country. Back to the inn, the rooms are well appointed and the top floor rooms have balconies. The river view rooms have a great view of the Ohio river and a view of the town its near (Madison) which has several little shops that are interesting. Kind of a tourist town. In the park, there are hiking and biking trails and several waterfalls located throughout the park. Not all of them are breathtaking but it is very serene. I would definitely recommend this little park tucked along the Ohio about 50 miles west of Cincinnati and about 40 miles north east of Louisville.
