  • I'm very confused by the positive ratings. Since there are only 46 ratings, I'm assuming that only the people who loved it decided to take the time to write a review. What about the other million people who have seen it and haven't posted? I would bet money that they thought it was mediocre and don't want to waste anymore time than the 90 minutes they already wasted. I would have to say I agree with Rachel's post. I will start by saying that I have seen A LOT of Vegas shows, both big and small productions, and I usually like most of them (to varying degrees). So I'm not a Vegas curmudgeon. I don't need nudity or people flying through the air or acrobats doing 36 backflips into a pool of water to enjoy a show. But I do need to be entertained. I'll give you the pros and cons: Pros: Pretty costumes. Cons: Everything else. Ok, I'm being too harsh. Let me try again. I like the concept. I like learning about old school Vegas and seeing shows in that style. I liked the two tap dancers (very talented), the two contortionist balancing men (seen them before in some other show), and I liked a couple of the songs (some good vocals). These things accounted for about 10% of the show. But much of the dancing was not properly synchronized, and some of the songs were really dull (and they are songs that I like by the original artist). Also, the Elvis act was horrible. He was very similar to Elvis except he didn't look like him, sound like him, or move like him. So yeah... not very similar at all. I guess maybe they didn't want him to be trying to imitate Elvis, but I thought it was lame, nonetheless. My favorite part was the end. Partly because of the clips of the Vegas hotel demolitions that are no longer in existence (which was interesting), and partly because it was the end. The clapping was lackluster and forced. I almost felt bad for the performers. I was bored, and the people around me also looked bored. I love Vegas, and I go often, so if you want recommendations on any type of show, just message me. But this wasn't it. Sorry-- Thank goodness I got half price tickets.
