If you can find ANY other Internet/service provider, go with them... even if they're run by a bunch of 3rd graders! GO with anyone other than TWC!
They suck, flat out! They *couldn't care less about customer service! I had an appointment window of 9:00am 'til 9:59am one morning and I was 10-minutes (9:10am) late (definitely my fault), but the service tech/van was still outside my driveway: *parked... not driving off, "YES! He's still here!" I stopped my truck, *made eye contact with the tech!, waved, and yelled, "Dude, I'm here!" I pulled into my driveway, rolled up my windows, exited my truck... and he was GONE (at/by 9:12am)! NOWHERE in sight! He didn't tell me, "Screw you, you're late," "Man, you needed to be here right at 9:00am," nothing! He just F'N drove off without ANY explanation! I F'N looked RIGHT AT THIS GUY and he just hauled ass out of my neighborhood?!? What the F kind of crappy service is that?!?
So I reschedule for two days later. Attempt #2: The tech shows up and he's got my order WRONG! I ordered a cable/Internet bundle and he tells me that his order's for Internet *only?!? "What? Nah, man, I ordered a bundle for cable AND Internet," I say. I call the customer service/appointment line and the woman who answered the phone tells me that that package is no longer available??? "What? SO! It was the other F'N day when I ordered it!" Then came the crap excuses; one after another.
Charlotte, NC, IF IF IF you can avoid Time Warner Cable, DO SO! If not, don't be surprised if you get F'd over, too! After all, WHY should they step up their customer service satisfaction rate? What are you gonna do, go somewhere else? The answer is YES! Go/use someone else! When they close down, they'll understand it.
