The course: A long driver's dream if you can hit them straight. Long, wide open fairways averaging 400 yds. from the black tees. No water hazards, no dog legs, no undulating hills. Amazingly lush grass, lots of bunkers, and no houses you have to worry about hitting like at some AZ courses. Smack away!
Speed of play: The starter told us that it was a busy Saturday and apologized for about an average 4-hour playtime. What are you apologizing for?!? With the absolutely perfect weather that day, fours hours is unheard of in California!
Wildlife: Suicidal mini-prairie dogs that like to play chicken by darting in front of your cart. It's like they all line up on the edge of the cart path and play Frogger. We saw slot of little guys that didn't make it. Poor things. We also saw wild horses, hawks, and coyotes. Not normal sightings for us city folk.
Carts: electric and comes with a small cooler filled with ice. To maintain the fantastic conditions of the fairways, prepare for 90-degree rule of play with your cart.
