| - I give these guys a NEGATIVE 5 stars. My brakes were squeeking and I had a warranty on them from 1 year ago. Louis took me to the back shop insisting I watch him inspect my brakes. I watched as they took off my wheels and he said my brake pads were at 80% good yet. The roaters were fine he said, slightly warped, but he needed to find what was causing this. At 15 minutes and my neighbor waiting to give me a ride home. I told him to call me when he found something. An hour later he never called, so I called him. He said it was a cylinder in the rear brakes that was leaking oil. The bill would be $169 plus $59 for the oil. I called Sunset Automotive whom I usually deal with, and they told me that would not be the problem and to bring it over. So I called Just Brakes back and told them to put my car together and don't do anything. When I got there my car was still taken apart. Louis insisted on trying to continue selling me on letting them fix it. I asked where the rear brakes were leaking and looked at the floor. Not a spot of oil on the floor. He then opened a cover and a bunch of oil spilled onto the floor. I said there wasn't any oil leaking till you opened that. He said he would show me on the other side since that one was leaking too...I told him not to touch it and put my car back together. At this point he had my routers on a grinder and kept grinding away. After 1 hour there he finally started putting my car together. I drove to Sunset Automotive but barely made it. My steering wheel was shaking so bad on the freeway, my hands started to itch. Then I started smelling a burning rubber smell. I didn't think I"d make it to Chandler from Gilbert. When I got to Sunset Automotive, (whom I've been taking my car to for years and totally trust), they said the drums were wound so tight my tires the back were locking up. Everything was so hot it took awhile to do any work on it. The left rotor hadn't been touched. But the right rotor they had ground down so far, it had to be replaced. These rotors are 1 year old. They had said there was a leak on the back left cylinder...there was not leak. The oil they dumped on the floor and said it leaked is suspicious, because there is no oil on the shoes or anywhere around the cylinder. They had bled my brakes for no reason. The brake pads are sub-standard they use and I had to have those replaced at Sunset Automotive. I would not recommend Just Brakes. I don't care about any warranty...I will never let them touch my car again. From now on, I'll always drive the extra mile and go to Sunset Automotive who has always done a great job for me, with honesty, integrity, and a great price.
