rev:text	Honestly excellent. I have never had AYCE sushi before - was hesitant because in my head it just is pre-made, sketchy, gas station sushi waiting to be ordered (or buffet style that's been there?). God, am I glad I was wrong! Craving sushi on a Thursday at 9pm. Decided to give goyemon a try. Had no problem parking and we were sat for a party of two immediately. Now, I had to browse the menu hard. Pro-tip, get familiar with the menu before you go. Not that we were "pressured".. but the last minute on the spot ordering had a splotch of chaos. Waters and Sapporo was quickly served with ginger and wasabi for our selections. No complaints on time. Started off with the classics. Salmon, Tuna, Yellowtail. And a 1/2 philly roll. My only complaint was the amount of masago/roe on the roll. My mistake for not requesting it without, but I felt bad scraping it off. Pro-tip: Always do the half - don't overcommit and waste food. Amazingly fast and really fresh tasting. Roomie got Uni (said it was good, I'm not about that life) and Miso soup. Shrimp Ebi. And the 9-1-1 roll. When they say it's spicy, I mean my Asian roommate was breaking a sweat. Mackerel, Halibut, Snapper nigiri. All awesome. Then the specials board. Damn I hate I didn't see this first. Roasted shishito for the roomie. Miso salmon for me. And. SALMON BELLY AND TORO nigiri. Kill me now. The $27 for AYCE is what I would have paid for my orders worth of that and one roll. And the toro. Amazing. Cuts. Of. Toro. Also did veggie tempura and shrimp tempura. Tried the green tea ice cream (yummy).. lychee sorbet (so-so, I can't get on the lychee craze).. and the tempura ice cream (dessert show stealer). For two adults, AYCE, and a total of three beers, we dropped less than $100 on dinner. Which was an amazing dinner. Used to go to naked fish a lot, but would leave hungry and broke. Goyemon will be the sushi spot now.
