Ordered delivery via the Yelp website (who owns GrubHub now). GrubHub never picked up our food from the restaurant. When I called them, they said I accidentally ordered pick up. I didn't. The order was specifically for delivery, "powered by GrubHub". I've NEVER ordered takeout, and have NEVER toggled the "take out" feature upon order placement.
The customer service gal didn't do anything to help. She said she would call the restaurant. "What are they going to do?!" I asked. "The food has been ready for an hour-they fulfilled their part of the order process."
So now my question is this: how the HELL do I Yelp, Yelp? Because in this instance YELP DROPPED THE BALL IN EPIC FASHION and I have no recourse but to poorly rate a restaurant that I love in an attempt to hold Yelp/GrubHub accountable?
If you have any suggestions on how to handle this matter I welcome your input. Sorry Greens & Proteins! Maybe get your own delivery drivers? Would love your ahi salad about now...
