Dining out is a social experience (unless you are eating alone). When you want to go to an upscale sushi restaurant, you need to follow three criteria.
1. You have friends who are willing to pay $8-$12 for a roll of sushi.
2. You have friends who have $20 to pay for two rolls of sushi.
3. You have friends who won't complain after paying $20 for two rolls of sushi.
When I was in college, I didn't meet criteria #1 and #3.
Sushi 101 is cheap during happy hour. That is why I will keep this restaurant close to my heart. It's the only place where you and a friend can purchase ridiculous amounts of sushi for $24 during happy hour. I had a lot of good times here and this restaurant is definitely worth 4 stars!
