So this review is for their food at the main dining hall. For the most part, I don't really agree with the concept of exclusive golf clubs that once excluded people based on race and religion, but as my in laws are active members, I of course, graciously accepted an invitation for dinner. This Is my second visit and I've noticed that they upgraded the facilities and it has more of a modern feel as opposed to the old decor which made the place feel stuffy. Now with oak, modern fixtures and clean lines, the place feels airy and sophisticated. Service was on par ( of course!) and the food was actually pretty amazing. I started with the maple onion soup which was perfect in taste and consistency. I then had the lobster risotto which was huge and had massive pieces of lobster and ther shellfish. It was yummy and more than filling. I tasted my husband's steak which was cooked to the perfect requested temperature. The 4 hour braised shortribs were falling off the bone and tasted delicious. Dessert was ok, nothing too special.
