I recently posted a review for this apartment complex on behalf of my father on 12/2/2016. My father's situation has drastically changed in the last 8 days. He was hospitalized due to a stroke and is still suffering with stage 4 cancer. When we finally decided as a family my father was unable to live on his own, we approached the management and they were sympathetic to his situation. My father is currently receiving hospice care and only gets social security. He paid his bill on time and never complained about anything. The staff at the apartment seemed to like my father and were sad to hear of his diagnosis. When I asked them to show some compassion and bend their rules regarding breaking the lease, they claimed all they could do was waive the early termination fee. They stated we HAD to do a 30 day notice to vacate and when I asked them to adjust this to be 20 days (end as of December 31st) they said they couldn't. So my father, who is on a fixed income, is expected to pay almost $500 dollars simply because it is unsafe to live on his own due to having a terminal illness.
Do not rent an apartment here! They are not compassionate to even a dying man's situation and did nothing to assist him during his time of need.
