This has got to be my new favorite restaurant in Phoenix...my family has eaten here twice since it opened! I was a fan of the old Gallo Blanco at the Clarendon and, like many others, was highly anticipating its return. Well, my high expectations were exceeded! The food, which is apparently a modern take on authentic Mexico City cuisine, is sublime. Simple ingredient combinations, but oh so fresh and flavorful. The al pastor, in particular, is the best I've ever had. The homemade telera bread on their tortas is epic. Plus, kids eat free!!! The location is super cool, in an up and coming part of the Garfield neighborhood. Love the mix of historic and modern architecture. We'll be eating here regularly!
