  • I've been to FNL at the ROM twice. First, I came on a friday night in September and paid for tickets in advance so I could skip the line. It wasn't too crowded and the galleries had a decent amount of people so I was able to enjoy that. Each friday has a different theme with activities on each floor of the museum. The schedules are posted in advance so that you're able to see which days have what themes. Second, I came for Halloween night. Again, I paid for tickets but this time, I had to wait in line to be let in even though we had preordered tickets. We had anticipated this, however, so we had gone early and waited around half an hour before being let in at opening hour. Some people in my group did not get tickets so they had to wait in another line to get tickets. They did not get into the ROM until an hour before closing. Always go early on popular nights! As expected, the building was a lot more crowded and there were times you could barely move. Overall, both experiences were good. Tickets are around 15$ per person for general admission. If youre in a cultural mood but are down to have fun, this experience is one to consider. You can head to the galleries at any point (though not all are open), or you can get drinks and food and head to the dancefloor. Food and drink tickets are sold on the main floor (around 6$ per ticket I believe, don't quote me on that though!) and once you have your tickets, you can exchange them for food or drinks throughout the museum. Highly recommended for everyone to try once as part of the nightlife in Toronto.
