| - Dr. Andrews was empathetic and kind; she validated my concerns, made me comfortable throughout the exam, explained to me my options for changing birth control, etc. I was a new patient, as I transferred from a male doctor who didn't seem to understand that "going without birth control for a couple months to see how it goes" wasn't gonna work for me! He did not listen, did not provide all of my options, and left before I could even ask a question! I felt much more at-ease with Dr. Andrews. She shared with me her own personal experience and was honest in confessing that she cannot predict the possible side effects of switching- however, she guaranteed that we would manage them together and she would be there for me! I got my appointment over the phone quickly, didn't spend too long in the waiting room, and the MAs were kind and empathetic! I'd have given this office 5 stars had the front desk staff been a little warmer. I think one of those girls might have hurt herself had she tried to smile!!! Crimeny, no one is excited about the huge invasion of privacy that IS an OB/Gyn visit, but you could certainly make the wait less anxious for patients with even just a warmer tone of voice! Ultimately, I will still return to Dr. Andrews and ignore their attitude - guess that's the price ya pay for the perfect OB/Gyn!
