I wanted to try this restaurant for a long time, especially since I knew that the culinary influence came from the French West Indies and that I'm a huge fan of this cuisine that makes me think so much about my mother's dishes. I was wandering around with my son when I saw the restaurant and in no time we were sitting ready to order.
The decoration is very simple, there are Guadeloupe and Martinique's maps hanging on the wall as well as Creole dolls placed on a shelf.
We ordered a ham and cheese crepe for my son (not very atypical but kids are not the most adventurous when it comes to food) as well as a coconut sorbet, I took boudin creole as a starter and a Fricassee of Conch with plantain, salad and rice with red beans. The food was very good but lacked a little of the sunny spices that I expected.
However, I will return because their menu is extensive and I still have quite a few things to try!
