I am a business owner of computer repair and support company. I am regularly here at least 2 times a week to purchase product. Fry's Electronics should be convenient as they are really one of the last retail computer locations left standing and their prices are usually fairly solid. Sadly, this is offset by a few major issues. 1) Lack of cashiers and large lines. It's as bad as going to the Post Office. Long lines of customers waiting to check out with only a handful of cashiers. I don't like walking in and grabbing my product in 5 minutes only to wait another 20 minutes to actually get checked out. 2) Lack of stock. In particular hard drives. Dozens of 2, 4, 6GB drives on the shelves that no one wants yet empty shelves for 500GB and 1TB drives of all brands. Get a clue Fry's. Not to heard to realize where you need to boost your stock levels. 3) Solid State Drives. While their prices are very competitive on HDD they are always $30-60 more on SSDs. Need to get more in line price wise in this area.
