| - Celebrated my dad's 51st birthday here on a Sunday and it was great! We all got a little tiny taste of either sparkling or red wine, and decided to share a bottle of red (currently 1/2 off!).
Our server, Sarah, was very attentive and checked with the kitchen every time I asked for an accommodation which was absolutely wonderful! My sister and I both got the prix fix menu with the filet and either shrimp, lobster, or something else I forgot about that also came with a delicious salad and hasselback potato and a dessert. I was able to switch my dessert which was great. The potato was nothing special, it was pretty much just a baked potato. I ended up getting the creme brulee which was good, but nothing so special IMO. My sister got the original dessert in the menu stated as a salted caramel ice cream sandwich which came out kind of melted and sliding off. Honestly, the presentation was horrible but she said it was still good.
Both my parents got the prime rib dinner which also comes with a salad of your choice, prime rib, a side of your choice, and a dessert of your choice. Everything was great but the chocolate lava cakes which they are apparently known for were both overcooked and were not lava-like. It was completely cooked in the middle. I guess it was soft but nothing ran out of it. I'm surprised that they didn't get the timing on the cooking down on that one.
Overall, food and service was great! It's pretty rare, though, that a restaurant messes up desserts.. those are usually the safe options! Nothing major though and I would definitely be back.
