| - I've tried to get past the inconsistent performance of the restaurant, since the price for food is reasonable, even if they charge an extra buck for white rice. When they hit the target, the food is pretty good, even up to a four star. But, too often, the execution either ends up bland, or as it was the other day, overly spicy. (If I wanted to dump a pile of crushed red pepper into the garlic shrimp, I could do that myself.) My wife gave up on this restaurant months ago, due to the same problem. We tend to order the same food, so it's not a matter of different dishes having different flavors. I'm a good cook myself, making anything from roast beef with béarnaise, to Peking duck, to General Tso's chicken, to lasagna. If you want to give it an extra star for price, I would understand.
