I was a fan of their old location off Spring Mtn and I'm still a fan after trying this new location. The food is a copy and paste so if any of you reading now didn't get to try it at the old location then you're not missing out on anything.
I was hungry on a random night and decided to come to my favorite spot in Vegas, 215/Eastern, and asked anyone if they were hungry too. I ended up with a party of five and contemplated whether or not we would be able to sit down and eat at Monta Chaya because if anyone who has been to Monta Ramen before knows that they are always backed up with customers. This place was not busy!
I ordered what I had last time to compare which was the miso ramen and extra noodles. My friend ordered a pork belly bowl so I didnt have to order that last night. Everything tasted exactly how it was served on Spring Mtn, which is a plus! The rave about the old Monta still lives on with Monta Chaya, the place is still small but we didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes to be seated. The waitress was the same from the old location but it sucks they still serve tea out of a can. At least it's a safe bet that the drink will be clean hehe. But do come in here if you've never tried Monta Ramen before.
Monta Chaya might have just bumped herself into my Seven World Wonders of 215/Eastern!
