I had Persian tea at someone's place and needed to buy it and was sent here. This place smells delicious. They're cooking up lots of good Persian food like koobedeh. Some shawarma too (that's not Persian right?) They had Persian pistachios and I love pistachios so I got some to try. They're sweet and lemony-tasting but a little redder than regular salted pistachios. What's on these? Sugary lemon water? Is saffron involved? What about sumach?
I also bought the tea I tried. It's a good price compared to other quality loose leaf black tea.
The guys working the food section are friendly. The koobedeh sandwich pita I got was delicious and only $5 + tax.
I can't wait till I'm in the area. I want to go back and try other Persian things.
