My go-to for to-go!
Especially if there's a wait, and there usually is.
It's also really good to eat onsite... even though the seats aren't that comfortable.
My favorite ramen is the Jinya White, which is a mix of their Pork and Chicken broth. With the two flavors, it's not too porky and the chicken adds a clearness which gives a cleaner style broth.
Thick noodle is better than thin, in my opinion.
Order Spicy and get the Hot level; it's good.
They make a good egg, so I usually add an extra.
Pork chashu is not the best I've had but it's still good.
If you're onsite, ask for fresh garlic. It adds a special kick, but it is something you and your party should partake in, or the odd one out will be the vampire target. Or get punished by garlic essence.
I also really like the combination meal where you can order a side dish. My favorites are their housemade gyoza or chicken chashu bowl. If I'm not that hungry, I ask the server to pack up the bowl so I can have for lunch the next day.
I did not like the Brussel Sprouts - it's not light tempura style at all and had too much batter.
Pork Bun - It's a good version and I would order again.
All in all, my new favorite ramen spot in town. Lots of versions and variety for all to enjoy.
