Just a lack-luster experience. Peculiar serving sizes (we actually had the opposite problem of other reviews and had a giant mountain of bread and a huge block of cheese to contend with). Odd drinks. But perhaps it was an 'off' night. I won't get into all the details because it's probably all been said and it is still new- so I'll of course be back. But... after 3 different 'cocktails' between my friend and I we gave up and went to our standard, vodka tonic. The tonic is brown and just doesn't taste remotely like any type of tonic water I've ever had. It's great to experience new twists... but I believe the server had a responsibility to inform us of all this in advance. "... So the tonic water will look really different and taste different; it's a housemade brew... it's been really popular but it will taste different than what you've experienced in the past. If you don't like it- I'd be happy to bring you something else." Or some version of this. To me this is like ordering a glass of water and getting grapefruit juice. Sure there is water in there, but it's not a glass of water.
