This place sets the bar for excellence in service SOLELY for the SERVICE/REPAIR Department.
I started going to Russ Darrow when they were on Whitney Way. I had a Jeep Cherokee, bought a second Cherokee and considered a 3rd Grand Cherokee but after the list of repair needs that Grand Cherokee got to go back to its owner.
I compare others to the level of service I receive and received from this dealer.
My service advisor has changed only once and the new guy was just as good if not better. How so?
a) He was sincere. No fake cheesy-ness with me. No forced small talk.
b) Laid out the needs of the truck. I had no worries get the work done but needed a car to get around so they could keep the truck. Bada bing - a loaner was provided as I asked.
c) Negotiated a price for the repairs and it was accepted so I was on my way.
d) No one ever ever has to get brakes done at a dealer - they're usually over priced but the guys were competitive. No coupon used but negotiations saved the day/deal. This is something to be mentioned because it doesn't hurt to cut a few bucks to get a loyal customer.
I'm having a serious repair need now and I would much rather get it 1,000 miles back to Madison than deal with the dealer here. But it's a coolant issue so it won't make it.
Also, they have never once tried to nickel and dime me.
When I have to get a small item done - I'm usually at Luke's but for big things and I need the comfort of a national warranty or same name brand to get any potential issues ironed out.... I go with Chrysler because of these guys at this location.
Yep! It's that serious.
