As I write this it is 1039am on a Friday...July 24. This is how my experience started... Check in an hour before the flight departure 750am. When mine and my husbands tickets were purchased we were sitting together middle and aisle. When we checked in both of us had middle and over 10 row difference. Went to the counter to correct the issue the service agent tried to say we booked in June then cancelled then rebooked...huh?!? Not the case. Besides the error now she was pointing the problem as our fault. Customer service 101 the customer is never at fault which in this case we really weren't. She couldn't put us together but a very nice man did switch for me. Karma paid off on that one but... Since there wasn't enough over head space we had to check our carry on then we got on the plane just to get off 30 minutes later secondary to a maintenance issue. 2 hours after our departure time we re board spent another 30 minutes on the runway to have to turn around yet again for a second maintenance issue. I do understand that certain things can't be controlled and I want to ride in a safe plane but this is where they really failed... Where's the hospitality... Drinks, food or how about "I'm sorry" at least act like you are. Overall I again realize that things happen but today it was one thing after another. This is definitely not my first choice airlines.
It's 1110am still on the plane... The best part of the story is the only reason for this trip was for my husbands company picnic. We were to land at 300pm and picnic to start at 4pm-730pm which with all these delays we will miss.
It's 1128am and we are finally on our way. Hope it's a safe flight
Are you kidding me?!? They ran out of food meals?!? I'm only in the 19th row. There are 34 rows!!! They could have comped my $5 chex mix they made me buy. Or give me a free drink! The guy next to me his credit card didn't work so they gave him his stuff for free! To top it off we were flying to a company picnic which we will miss especially since we have to wait for our carryon which they made us check because hey didn't have enough overhead room. Bullshit. Worst experience.
By the way... I'm still sitting on the runway 3.5 hours late just sitting on the plane waiting for a freakin gate!!!!!
