| - YAY!!!! Nadege opened a location in Scarborough Town Centre, and I don't have to venture my way into Trinity Bellwoods to get these delicious treats!
Nadege is truly one of my favourite macaron stores in Toronto - after trying Laduree's macarons in Paris' airport, I was extremely disappointed and declared my favourite location to be Nadege as they seem to maintain their quality of macarons!
This is a pop-up location, meaning there's no spots for seats and no logs and cakes here for immediate purchase either. However, you are most welcome to order one online and they will probably make them from headquarters and bring it up.
Macarons have been super popular over the years, but Nadege, being one of the original stores always has a place in my heart. They're prices are slightly more expensive, but their macarons aren't chunky - flour and almond ratio is standard and smooth, unlike many of the pop up macaron stores all over the place nowadays.
I purchased a 12 pack as a gift, when I did so, the person also offered me a sample of their macaron and a brochure in case I was interested. I was pretty impressed with the sample she took out. Usually, they would put it in the refrigerator, where it's fairly cold and I would have to wait 30minutes before consuming it, but for this one, I saw her take it out of a closed compartment (maybe it wasn't really a fridge, or they adjusted the temperature), and the macaron was ready to eat (none of the frostbite coldness that I hate from macarons)
