We ended up here at the last minute because another hotel we had originally booked ended up having bed bugs. Thank goodness they had a vacant room with a double bed! The lobby was typical and the front desk was polite. We ended up seeing some of the same employees (we stayed almost a week) and they became even friendlier over time.
Our room was small and clean with a view overlooking Rene-Levesque. I noticed some reviews complained about the size of the rooms, but I think it was enough for what we needed. You could even fit a wheelchair even in a non-accessible room. The washroom had a walk-in shower. Housekeeping provided clean towels every day and kept our room very clean. I regret not bringing my running shoes because they had a small gym.
Your stay comes with a basic free breakfast that lacks in protein, but hey, the price is right and you can pay to get a cooked breakfast with eggs, meat and home fries. We tried the cooked breakfast one morning and it was alright. The eggs seemed a bit overcooked, though.
Overall, it was a good experience. It's walking distance to most touristy places. And between Rene-Levesque and Viger, your running route is kind of a no-brainer as a tourist if you can't be bothered to stop and keep track of directions.
