I went into the store today with the intention of buying some accessories for my home. No one greeted me or said hello. I ended up finding an awesome light fixture that I was debating on buying. I took pictures of it, was trying to see the tag with the price, hemmed and hawed for quite a while, sales associates walked by several times and no one even asked if I needed assistance or said hello. As much as I liked the light, I refuse to buy it at such an unwelcoming store. (So they just lost a $600 sale because no one approached me)
Also, it is VERY off-putting to have signs all over the place that say "do not put anything on the table" or "do not play with the chess set". I've never seen so many rules in a home furnishing store before. This is in the Arboretum, for goodness sake, perhaps they should remember that!
