Please take care and do not make the mistakes I did when signing up for this program:
1. Do not be desperate.
2. Research, shop around and get second opinions.
3. Do not be pressured to sign a contract at first interview (hard sell).
4. It is expensive. ($100 per pound for my situation.) Question everything before spending your hard-earned money. Know that the meal replacements are marked up fairly high (do not buy in quantity trying to save money, you cannot return the unopened cartons for refund.)
5. Just because it is promoted as a "medically supervised" program, doesn't mean it is safe, or that you'll see a doctor who cares about your concerns for more than one or two minutes every other week. I was prescribed "appetite suppressant" which is basically an upper that raised my blood pressure and gave me heart palpitations. Neither doctor has experienced obesity, nor do they know about 60 year old women's metabolisms.
6. One size diet does not fit all metabolism types-- their plans are not customized any more than if you read several diet books or googled your particular issues to try to figure out what might work for you.
7. Do not expect accuracy in their computer results/read-outs. Their scales and computers were "off" for 4 weeks of my results, they got my account mixed up with another person's, and I did not understand that my prior surgeries using metal in my bones would throw off the bioelectric impedence scale.
