Little disclaimer: we came on restaurant week so they likely had all hands on deck, but based on our first visit we will definitely be back
We had the appetizer sampler and while all of it was worth eating again. Perfect little Cuban slider and the empanada was different and flavorful.
My wife had the relleno, carrots, and mashed potatoes. I had the asada, corn bread and creamed corn. We both really enjoyed our food but I wouldn't order the creamed corn again. It was much better than canned but not enough to order in a restaurant. I'd definitely get the potatoes next time.
For dessert we had the banana burrito and chocolate torte. Both came with chocolate ice cream. Both were good but I had to ask for a knife to cut the fried banana. It was a bit tough to eat with a spoon.
Service was great, everything arrived right on time and the food was very good. We sat on the patio and the atmosphere was really nice. They had a talented combo start playing just before we left and they weren't too loud for the environment and sounded very good.
The restaurant is definitely eclectic and you do have to walk through the tables to check in, but that is because of the building and size of their patio. Don't let it throw you off. If you like your food the temperature of the sun then this is not the place for you. We found the temperature of the food to be fine although not piping hot as some seem to expect.
