  • My husband and I went to dinner and to see Circus 1903 on opening night at Knight Theater. We had tickets in the balcony front row, first two seats. Excellent seats. While we were sitting there a couple came in behind us and as the female sat down she poured her entire ice cold glass of white wine down my back!! I screamed and jumped up because it scared me to death!! They were apologetic but damage had been done. I was soaked thru to my undergarments and my seat was also soaking wet! So I had to sit through the show in a wet seat and wet clothes. I received an email from Knight Theater on our experience, I told them the same thing and I've yet to hear a word from them....now that's customer service!! I've not been to another Performing Arts venue in Charlotte that allows you to bring in your drinks. It really put a damper (no pun intended) on our night. I was soaked, and reeked of alcohol so going out for dessert afterwards was a no. Keep the drinks out of the venue and have patrons dispose of them prior to coming inside for the show!!
