| - One of the three major Asian supermarkets in the Pittsburgh area, this one is probably the most out of the way and least frequented, due to the lack of public transportation coming here. For someone with a car though, these are probably good reasons--parking is always available, and it's rarely crowded inside. Like Lotus, it has a good selection of a variety of Chinese dried goods and snacks, freezer department, small little bakery section, and fresh fruits and vegetables.
One difference from Lotus is Oriental Market's meat department, which almost always has a wide array of different meats and animal parts in stock. Which is perfectly logical--Lotus doesn't need this as much to be viable since Wholey is right next door. However, one often finds Asian-style of meats here that doesn't always show up at Wholey (like pork belly).
One gripe I would have is that the veggie selection, while good, doesn't compare to that of Lotus. Oriental's veggies are a bit less fresh, and they have fewer choices.
