I bought some sunflower seed spread yesterday at Magnolia, and when I got it home and opened it, it smelled 'off'. I called the store and spoke to the young woman who had sold it to me- she said to bring it back. I returned with it yesterday and a man was there, but not the young woman. He got angry because the jar had been opened. I told him it was when I opened it that I detected a strange smell from the product. The expiry date turned out to be 3 weeks from now. He kept asking why I had opened it, and why couldn't I eat it in 3 weeks. I found another jar with a date a month later than the one I bought and told him I wanted to exchange it. After much complaining, he told me to take the other jar and never to return to the store!
Wow, this guy needs to learn about customer service! Don't worry, I won't be back!
