| - My lease was up Feb 18, 2016, back in August 2015 I was receiving mailers stating I would benefit from turning my lease in early. So my husband and I went to the dealership and it was a total waste of time. The salesman, Tom did not even try to sell us a car! So we figure whatever it was worth a shot, we will come back in Feb. And so we did. Unfortunately we got Tom as our salesman again. He informed me that they were "not interested in buying my Optima, they have plenty of Optimas" and gave me a very low trade for my car. Again he made no real effort to sell me a car or try to make me happy. I am a LOYAL Kia customer, this purchase/lease would have made it my fourth vehicle from Kia. But we walked out. Thankfully I only wasted about 45 minutes of my time with Tom. Last night I went to Kia of Bedford. Not only did they want my Optima but I had zero negative equity, and I am now driving a 2016 Kia Soul.... because they took the time to listen to what I needed, what my budget was, and they HELPED me. Now I can not just blame Tom for this bad experience. I watched as he walked back to far wall room where I assume the manager resides and I watched him shake his head back and forth (no, no, no) at Tom so I can only assume that Tom's non desire to sell cars comes directly from management. Perhaps they want their business to fail? Because despite many warnings not to go to Mentor Kia I did anyways.... and I will not be back, ever, again despite the fact it is much closer to my home. I will drive to Bedford or Olmsted where they actually want business. So short story if you want to actually buy a car, and get a good deal avoid Mentor Kia at all cost.
