  • I was just watching the 6 PM news and had to suffer through a long tirade from Mark Curtis about guns and gun control, etc. I, for one, think he and all other newscasters should keep their opinions to themselves. Just because they have a platform to speak from because they work for a television station does not, I repeat NOT, give them any right to use that platform to voice their opinions. If they think they have that right, then I should have the same right, but I don't. It is the same as the so-called celebrities in hollywood who insist on spewing out their views when they are no more qualified to do so than I am.
