| - Came to this store to just check out the S9 and look at accessories. I currently switch between a Z2 force and a Pixel 2 XL, and was interested in getting a couple more Google home minis. The jerk who tries to sign me in told me I needed to be signed in to be in the store. I told him I just wanted to look, and he said, "you have to be signed in."
I worked for Verizon for years, and it seems customer service has gone way downhill since I quit in 2015.
This is so close to my house, but I'll always be going back to the Town Center location from here on out. Or, I'll just order my Z2 gaming controller, 2 Google home minis, and a case for my new Z2 online. Probably from Amazon. I can't believe I wasn't allowed to be in the store without being signed in. In all the years managing Verizon stores, I NEVER kicked someone out for just wanting to look at accessories. Astonishing. My camera was on, but I'll save the employee the embarrassment and possibly his job, because I know everyone has bad days.
Edit: However, I went to the parking lot and ordered all $485 worth of the things I wanted from Amazon (case, hue bulbs, Z2 gaming controller mod, glass screen protector, and Hasslebad camera mod for the Z2, (minus the Google Home Minis), without being forced out of the store because I didn't want to be signed in for help (so they could look at my account for opportunities to increase my monthly bill.) In doing so, they missed quite a bit in accessory sales.
