This is probably THE strangest fusion concept restaurant that I've been to. Japanese Italian? I was wary, but pleased! We have been here 3 times now and it's consistently good. I liked the squid ink pasta, but it's VERY rich (as it should be) and I couldn't finish it. I got the miso carbonara. Definitely more "wet" than a traditional carbonara, but yummy! I like my carbonara more dry and true (I hate when restaurants add cream). This didn't seem like cream and I'm guessing the wetness came from the miso. Service is good and attentive. One thing I didn't like was that we got a dessert (I believe mochi) that came with toasted almonds. The nuts were rancid. Other than that, we think it's great!
When the hubby and I get a random craving, we come here and will continue to!
