Yippee!! I finally found a nice dim sum place near where I live. I am impress at the way their service is managed. The staffs are always on the look out to clear your empty dishes or any service that they can provide. The carts moves around the restaurant continuously and you definitely don't see their staffs standing around and talking. We were presented with our choices of dim sum almost as soon as we sat down on our booth. Their tables were arranged in a very spacious manner, unlike most dim sum restaurants where you always have to move your chair when the cart comes around.
All the dishes we tried were excellent - har kaw, siu mai, Shanghai dumpling, chao mi fen. They are definitely generous with their filling because every piece is very juicy and delicious rather than flour-like. The cook will occasionally comes around with a dish or two that was freshly prepared. Their yam cake is served straight from their portable grill on a cart. My favorite dish that morning is their egg tart. It is THE BEST egg tart I have ever had. The crust is crispy and flaky and the egg custard has a smooth consistency and just the right amount of sweetness.
Their pricing is also very reasonable at $2-$3 per dish. I wish there were more of us so that I could try more things. I will definitely visit again to try different things.
