Went to Zinc last night for dinner. The decor and ambiance turned out better than I thought. I was expecting trendy sit-down restaurant place, but it ended up being more vintage and it had a pretty nice Bar area which was really popular on Saturday night. It was a bit noisy, but it didn't interfere with our dinner. I'd say it was about 50/50 split between people having full on dinner, and people just having some drinks with cheese and appetizers.
Now onto the food ... We ordered the onion soup, which must have been one of the best I've had. Not salty, the broth wasn't heavy, onions were cooked perfectly. I'd say this one is "a must" at this place. Main entries: 1) Seared Ahi was excellent - seared to perfection; 2) Pork Tenderloin was great as well. We just got their House White wine to go with the food. Generous pour of the wine was nice and lasted through the meal.
Overall: I'd come back here again.
