| - This is a good theater. I've been here many times. Here's my take:
GOOD:
- The seats are large, spaced out both horizontally and front-to-back, and are comfortable. There's enough knee room for people down your row to pass in front of you without your needing to move.
- Each cinema is fairly small, so all the seats are good.
- The front end is staffed, so I never wait in much of a line to buy tickets.
- There is ONE COUNTER for both tickets and popcorn, so that's good, too.
- It's inside the Galleria mall, so there's a nice parking deck at the bottom that's never full.
LESS THAN GOOD:
- Well, as expected, the popcorn and drinks cost more than the tickets. I know, they all do it, but it's my review, and I get to complain here!
- The green exit signs that are SO BLOODY BRIGHT, they reflect a green hue on HALF the movie screen! If there's a dark scene in your movie, forget it; you're half blind from the FOUR exit signs glowing like four green suns.
I know that fire-code requires these, yes. All theaters have them. But why are they not a problem elsewhere? Get different bulbs; please figure it out.
