| - To start, this reviewer is not a fan of French restaurants, but this is not your average stuffy French restaurant. I must say that the experience from walking through the doors to dessert was off the charts great. The location within Aria is odd, given it is situated with two other restaurants at the end of a corridor on the second floor of a poorly trafficked area. Upon entering Bardot, you feel like you found the coolest French inspired speak easy around. The restaurant is alive with energy, the drinks potent, the menu selection is celestial, and the service PERFECT. I was in with a large party, and our server delivered a mix of seasoned professional with comic relief. Being a picky pescatarian, I was offered a special plate from Chef, although I declined. I was so touched that the Chef would make something special for me, and delivered such an amazing epicurean experience, I couldn't stop raving about the food while there that our server arranged to bring out Chef Jeannie. She was such a great sport and chatted with us for a while.
We started with assorted appetizers, and all were exceptional. I had the Salad Bardot, and the Salmon Aux Lentils. Both were 10's. I topped it off with the chocolate macarone, this was rich and could be split with two others. I dine in Vegas regularly, and have been let down more times than I was inspired, and this place hit the spot. Please make the effort to try Bardot.
