  • I'm consistently impressed by this place. In no way is it fancy...it's a Beer Garden...but it sure is fun! First off, VBGB is so easy to work with if you're having a get together. They will reserve a table if you have a group, let you have the private room...if I could, I would throw every event here. Second, the food here is GREAT. I mean, you can't really go wrong with fried food, so that's always good. I would come here for the Pretzel and cheese. Best in town by far. Last night, I tried the Chicken Kabob and the Steak Kabob. Highly recommend! It was delicious and a healthy alternative for anyone not interested in the fried food. I didn't partake in "Taco Tuesday", but maybe next time. Third, the staff is always so friendly. They are great about giving recommendations and tastes, and there is always someone walking around picking up empty food trays. If you're looking for just a good fun place with some great people watching, and you just want to have a beer and snack, this is the place to go. Awesome before a concert, too, so you can just walk over. Next time, I'm going to hit up the Giant Connect Four game.
