We were really excited to try Bernard's because of the reviews posted earlier but it was a big disappointment. We went on a Monday at 6 pm. There were only 7 other diners. Our server greeted us with a drink question and never once mentioned the dinner special. We ordered a Caesar salad which took over 20 mins to make it to our table. I ordered the chicken schnitzel which was thickly coated in Panko breadcrumbs and very bland. The side of spaghetti was also bland. I don't think the chef or cook once used salt or any spice at all. My husband ordered the cannelloni which had a very odd taste. All in all I would not recommend this restaurant. I gave it two stars for ambience.
