  • I been to 3 schools in the past week trying to get into a pharmacy tech school. I visited Kaplan, Pima and Hitech. I have been looking to be a pharmacy tech for 2 years now, I started in Cali and ended up in vegas. I was looking a school that would woo me! and I believe i have. 1st Kaplan impressed me. I knew someone who attended Kaplan and is has been working as a PT for 3 years now. No complaints, very friendly straight forward, The only down side was the price! about 12000. 2nd was Pima. I waited a little bit but it all paid off. I met Frank, a very nice gentleman. Straght to the point and wanted to know about me and why was i interested. He surprised me into taking 2 entrance exams. For some reason I was very nervous. I haven't taken a test in about 10 years for anything. I thought I did horrible, and Frank said I was a genius (obviously being sarcastic.) While I was in his office, a student dropped by that just got accepted for Medical Assisting. I picked her brain a bit, asked her how did she like it and that was it. Next, the head of the pharmacy program stopped by to give an interview. We had to move to the actual pharmacy classroom! I was going nuts. He explained Financial aid, and all the regular business. But while walking into the classroom 2 students were walking out. Frank introduced me, and 1 of the students told me, "Are you ready for Frank to change your life." I already knew Frank was a great person, while sitting in his office there was a bulletin board with a bunch of thank you notes and letters of appreciation! All of them said Thanks Frank and how they appreciated everything. It was obvious that Frank was helpful and does his job well. I can already tell from those 2 hours I spent with him, he would help thru it all. I was shocked, by his dedication and words of wisdom. I want to attend PIMA. Maybe. 3rd was Hitech. The parking lot was a bit empty, and from the first 2 which were pretty full. I had my doubts. Sarah helped me, she was a bit pushy but very nice as well. I already had my eyes on Pima, just from the counselor speaking to me. I didn't really give them a chance from the beginning. I was a bit concerned about the accreditation of hi tech. I can't say that i meant someone that would make me feel as welcome as Frank. If your gonna go here, ask for him. Tell him Chrisjan sent you. I will update my review after I make my choice but just from spending time with Frank that i wanted to go there.
