  • Right. Like this Lakewood joint really needs yet another 5-star review. Well, too bad, Nature's Bin. You're going to get it, and you're going to like it! I decided last month that it was time to stop being such a fatty, and time to get my weight under control. By supplementing our weekly grocery store trip to a trip to the Nature's Bin, too I've helped get my weight under control by eating much better food. (OPINION FOLLOWS) And while organic, natural foods may or may not be healthier for you, I find them to be tastier than ones that are not, simply because there's fewer added salts, fewer mystery ingredients, and no pesticides. Definite plusses in my book. You're not going to find a huge selection, simply because there's not a huge selection to be had. Thankfully, you can and often will find name brands there, too. Heinz has all sorts of products represented, thanks to their true foray into organic products. There are all sorts of pasta sauces, and quite a selection of locally processed goods. Don't miss the prepared foods in the deli counter, either. I've yet to have something that wasn't fantastic, and each single portion isn't a load of food. It's just enough for one person and one serving and is way responsible, especially for someone prone to overeating like me. My recommendations: The Turkey Bacon Avocado and Roast Beef and Cheddar wraps, any soups, the Chicken Parm and my son swears the Chicken Tenders are the best he's ever had (until he has another chicken tender, but, you take what you can get, right?) Definitely two (slightly more slender) thumbs up from me!
