| - OK, so check this out. I know I have been long dormant with the Yelp reviews (bad girl, BAD GIRL!), so to make it up to ya'll, I am now embarking on a casino-by-casino tour of my new hometown of LV, NV, and will include reviews of each as I tour them. Now, these will not include room stays, but just schlepping around the premises - eating, drinking, and checking out anything that moves or doesn't move. Got it? OK, let's proceed...
Review #48:
coming into this place via one of the parking garages, I thought I was really going to hate it, because there is definitely a "game show" and "carnival cruise" vibe to the one end of the casino - loud & obnoxious were the words that came to me; but on further exploration, it's not so bad; first off, the property is huge, and there's another part of the casino that is more my speed, especially the hottie dealers, waitresses, and go-go girls in the center; has a very nice & lively sports book, with a decent deli/grill adjacent for chow; affordable shopping on the floor above the casino level; a lot of mid-level bachelorette parties roaming about, probably due to the Chippendales show; really liked the classy vibe at the Wine Cellar & Tasting Room, but sadly it was pretty empty; best craft beer bet = the restaurants & bars have pretty standard/boring fare, but thankfully, there is a sundries store & a liquor store on premesis, both with a worthy selection of craft bottles to go; overall, probably worthy of 3.5 stars, but just can't give it 4
