Both of the stars I'm giving this place is for the nice atmosphere of the building's interior design. Also, I guess the food didn't kill us. Every other aspect of this restaurant deserve zero stars.
The slow, confused service staff asked us what we ordered several times and still didn't know who ordered what when they brought it. It was like watching the Keystone Kops as waiters. There was even a manager involved at one part. It was total chaos and the antithesis of relaxing.
When they finally put our food in front of us, it was a sad, tiny dish. I ordered the ravioli. They brought 5 of the most limp, flat, and bland ravioli I have ever seen in my life. This is what you get for a $30 dish.
I'm not sure how they've stayed in business "since 1939." I guess businesses can stay open longer in high tourism areas because they rely on the ignorance of their patrons and not on repeat business.
ps: I was just looking at other reviews (I don't read them before writing because I don't want them to color mine.). I am so confused at the comments calling this "fine" dining. Unless they mean it was "fine" as in just tolerable. This is NOT a fine dining experience. Olive Garden has friendlier, more competent service. I promise you.
